The Renaissance head is for soprano banjo ukuleles.
The ultra low crown Top Frosted head is for Werco & Dixie banjo ukuleles. Measure the diameter of your banjo's head carefully. There are 2 sizes. The earlier Dixie banjo ukes by Werco have a 6-3/4" diameter rim and the 7" head will not fit.
We also highly recommend choosing the option to have the aluminum removed: the tension hoop on a Werco/Dixie banjo ukulele is very narrow, and the modern banjo head channel is wider than they used to be, making it very difficult for the hooks to go on normally for this instrument. Removing the aluminum makes the channel thinner, therefore making it much easier to put the hooks and nuts over the tension hoop.
