New Recording King RAM-3-TS Mandolin
New Recording King RAM-3-TS Mandolin. Admit it, you've always wanted to try mandolin, but the $125,000 price tag of a 1924 Gibson Lloyd Loar signed F-5 has you intimidated. That trepidation is now a thing of the past. This mando from Recording King has a friendly price of $245 and will give you a taste of 8 strings & EADG tuning without mortgaging the house for a Loar. The neck, back, & sides are maple and the top is solid spruce. Bridge and fretboard are made of rosewood. The instrument is finished in a satin sunburst. Part of our detailed set-up of this instrument included scooping the fretboard extension to allow pick clearance while playing in the sweet spot. All said and done, this mandolin is great playing, good sounding, and an affordable addition to your musical instrument collection. The previously mentioned $245 price tag includes our meticulous set up and a Superior C-3770 gig bag.
