1921 Bump Openback Banjo Case. These cases are commonly original equipment with Vega instruments from the 1920’s The case widens at the 5th tuner area giving the nickname “Bump Case”. This instrument came with a 1921 Vega Whyte Laydie NO 2 and is presumed to have been the original case for that instrument. The banjo’s new owner preferred the protection of a Superior case for his rare banjo. This case is in solid and appropriately worn condition. Price is $200.
