New Recording King RO-328, 000 Size Guitar. When The Music Link was liquidating their Recording King inventory last summer, I ordered a few RO-318’s with mahogany back and sides. Imagine my surprise when the higher-grade rosewood guitar arrived at the price of the lesser model! Thus the screaming deal on a well-made guitar with solid top, back, & sides. The mahogany neck has a 1-3/4” width nut, a rosewood fretboard with a 24.9” scale, and a sharp V shape. The body features a solid red spruce top (advertised as Addirondack) with X-bracing and a rosewood bridge. The back and sides are solid Indian rosewood. The body is bound in white plastic with herringbone top trim. The entire guitar is finished in a high gloss finish. Though it is disappointing to have lost a valued supplier like The Music Link and their Recording King brand of instruments, I am happy to offer this guitar, that had an original list price of $1,066.99, at an incredibly affordable price of $500, and I include a sturdy brown Recording King gigbag.
